This Sussex, WI home received a major exterior update with new LP SmartSide siding and 14 ProVia Endure vinyl windows. The homeowners chose LP SmartSide in Midnight, replacing the home’s previous light-colored siding with a deep blue exterior accented by crisp white trim.

The darker siding creates a completely different look while working well with the home’s existing shape and architectural details. New windows were installed at the same time, giving the exterior a consistent, finished appearance across the front and sides of the house.

LP SmartSide in Midnight Adds Bold Contrast

Before the project, the home featured light neutral siding with white trim. Switching to Midnight gave the exterior much more depth and definition, especially around the front-facing gables, dormers, windows, and covered entry.

White trim was used throughout the exterior to create contrast against the dark blue siding. It also connects naturally with the existing white garage door and other lighter details, keeping the finished exterior from feeling too dark.

LP SmartSide is one of the siding options Tri-County Contracting offers homeowners looking for the appearance of wood with an engineered siding product. The Midnight color was a particularly strong fit for this home because it highlights the architecture without changing its traditional character. Tri-County also features Midnight among its current LP SmartSide color options.

14 New ProVia Endure Vinyl Windows

The project also included replacement of 14 windows with ProVia Endure vinyl windows. Completing the window and siding work together helped create a more uniform exterior, with the white window frames standing out clearly against the Midnight siding.

The new windows fit naturally with the updated color palette and reinforce the bright white accents used around the rooflines, corners, and entry. Instead of treating the windows and siding as separate visual elements, the finished exterior now reads as one cohesive design.

A New Look for This Sussex Home

The combination of Midnight LP SmartSide, white trim, and new ProVia windows gave this Sussex home a noticeably different appearance without losing the features that gave it character in the first place. The deeper siding color draws more attention to the peaks and window placement, while the white accents keep the exterior crisp and balanced.
